    Wierdness with Amazon Affiliate link

I was about to purchase Stargate Atlantis Season 3 on amazon and remembered our affiliate link. But when I used it, the prices were £15 more then Amazon.

    Deadmen link - £41
    http://astore.amazon.co.uk/deadmenwa...883342-9931134

    Amazon - £25
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Stargate-Atl...6740571&sr=8-2

I will try and work out how to get the better price but that's just plain stupid.

and now Ive just found it for £20... wth (European Import)

edit: for some reason the affiliate search uses Market Place seller :|

Sometimes the discounts don't count for affiliates.
I came across the same thing with my Transformers complete series DVD-box.

    I'm going to bump this.

I'm going to buy Fear 2 using play.com and it is only enough to click the link and dMw will get some sort of profit from it ? And where can I tell it really worked ?

At the moment we have never had any Play.com payments as we have never reached the minimum payment level with them. The only one we regularly get payments from is Amazon, that's not to say we will not eventually get payments from others including Play, just that others have not yet totalled to the minimum payment level.

I tend to use Play.com from time to time but forgot to use the affiliate link as i didn't know you had it , is it possible to have a link on the main forum page like the Amazon one? (and maybe with some of the other ones too but without making dMw flooded with adverts?)

Lefthand side, Useful Links. One of them is the Affiliates link section!

Flooding with adverts is indeed the issue. Let's think about it and see what we can do.

I bought fear2 through that link and it seemed like a normal play.com site, lets hope it helped

The link is to our Play.com affiliate (note the extra stuff in the url), so thanks for using it! Let's hope we get enough people using it to reach threshold.
